The Process of Recycling for IBM
IBM materials designated for destruction and grinding are concentrated in Olshak’s container destined to collect Company’s materials only. After receiving the waste in Olshak’s Ashkelon plant, primary and insubstantial destruction is performed in order to prevent reuse of such products. The following phases consist of manual separation of different materials such as plastic or packing materials, and cleaning of different metals. At the end of such primary steps, materials are transferred to automatic grinding lines, after which raw materials are eventually exported for reprocessing abroad.
